The firm uses information technology in its day to day activities and has computerized its operations. The firm subscribes to a number of on line legal resources for purposes of research and enhance of its library. The firm primarily bills its clients according to the scales of the Advocates Remuneration Order while always aware of the changes in the economy. We however enter into fee agreements with our clients whenever we reach an agreement with them. The billing on debt recovery is majorly based on retainer agreements.

C.M Ongoto & Co Advocates was established in the year 1999 by Mr. Charles Mong’are Ongoto who is the current managing partner.The firm currently has 3 partners who are all qualified advocates of the High court of Kenya with expertise in a wide range of legal matters forming the core of the firms operations. The advocates are supported by a dedicated staff comprising of associates, secretaries, court clerks for litigation and conveyancing departments, messengers and pupils drawn from the students of the Kenya School of Law undergoing the advocates Training programme. The firm specializes in commercial law, Banking, Environmental Law, Intellectual Property, Conveyancing/Property Law, Employment and Labour law, Tax Litigation and Consultancy, Criminal Law, Probate and Administration, Family Law, Debt Recovery and Insurance. The firm is founded on strong traditional values of professionalism, confidentiality, integrity and trust which are imbedded in all members of staff. We have fused these qualities with the benefit of new technology to provide services to our clients which are efficient and responsive. We are also a member of the Law Society of Kenya. Due to our concerted effort to satisfy our clients we have a number of lawyers in our company; 3 partners and 4 Associates and 1 pupil.
